My priority for tomorrow is getting the 10 minutes walk in. Didn’t do any today. However, I did my push-up benchmark pretty much first thing after getting up. I have improved so much! Can’t wait for coach coming up with movement snacks to help me get into a daily habit.

It’s so weird, I can easily ignore or pause the journey app, but not the coaching one. Not because I paid for it, but because if I don’t take things seriously and put the effort in, then I’m.wasting someone else’s time. Not reaching my goals feels secondary to that. I need to figure out how to change that.

The naming thing for one meal a day sure is making me think about stuff. I seem to prefer fatty food over sugary food, to the point where it sometimes feels like I’ve got an addiction. And then occasionally, like today, I’m the opposite and feel like eating is a waste of time and postpone it until I absolutely have to eat something or risk feeling unwell.

I did a wee bit of cleaning up. Defo need to do more, but it’ll have to wait. My day was otherwise nice and relaxed.

Did do some studying, though not on the topic that I need to study. I’m revisiting highschool math as it’s so much fun!

Also trying to combat revenge bedtime procrastination. That email from Steve and the video by coach Jim sure resonated!

Oh, I just thought of another project that I want to complete this week: in addition to the NF coaching commitment, I want to write out my big why (just submitted it in the coaching app). The door of my fridge is to be a space for this as well as sticky notes with goals, lessons and encouragements. This has been added to my to do app 😊

That’s so great that you’ve finally got a diagnosis. I’m curious though: what does the treatment look like?

Reported to coach about my mindless grab for blondies this morning.

Walked in place for 10 minutes while watching guardians of the galaxy.

My shoulder is almost back to normal. I’ve been told that it’s not my abs, but obliques that are hurting less today. Hopefully I’ll be fully recovered come Sunday so I can do the final benchmark for the push-up challenge!

Oh wow, i had that procrastination thing yesterday too!

Today was a lot more productive. So happy about that! Even walked away with a bit of a puzzle to solve in the data department; I’m in heaven!

Fav spot isn’t actually in the neighborhood, but isn’t too far from where I live either. It’s a pretty trail through the woods and moors.

Still taking it easy. Shoulder is still a tad sore, but only with certain movements. Abs are feeling a lot better as well. Can’t wait for them to stop hurting! Tomorrow I need to pick up on the hiking quest again, it’s been on pause for too long!

I totally get you! Well done on turning the dial down and go for things you can do!

Coach asked me what kind of activity should be my anchor for bad days. I put down a 5 minutes walk as I’ll do that indoors if I have to. I also added 5 minutes of piano playing. I actually did both of that today as I was so low energy. Had to force myself to eat something as I wasn’t feeling hungry at all.

Later in the day, the penny dropped: my abs hurt so bad, I’m sat crouched forward, putting pressure on my stomach which then feels off. So I walked around a bit and just stood up regularly and even went to lay down to read for a bit. That helped a little. Tomorrow I have to go to the customer’s office and they have stand/sit desks. Guess what I’ll be doing 😊

Work was a miss today. Didn’t get much done and thankfully didn’t have any meetings. I’m trying very hard to not feel guilty about it and go with tomorrow’s another day instead.

Coach has started me on mindful eating once a day. Did that too.

I found out this morning that I only have to do the final benchmark test for the push-up challenge. So gutted that that will have to wait til my abs recover.

Also finally went and got my last birthday present. It’s mostly from myself, but my family contributed too: a 55 inch TV 😁. I could probably have carried the thing myself, but I refused to be stubborn and ask a store clerk to put it in my car, my downstairs neighbor to get it into my flat and my uncle to help me assemble the thing. Uncle went home with my old TV, which is a bit of an upgrade for him. Can I say the picture quality is amazing! Had to force myself to turn it off just now to ensure I actually go to bed at a semi decent time.

Push-up challenge: check. Did two front planks instead of knee front planks! 💪

Nutrition: checked the nutritional value of my snack.

Walked 10 minutes closer to the ant hill of doom.

I’m so ready for the weekend. At least the course is finished and I’m now in a teams channel with a few of the guys I did the course with. There is a serious lack of women in my line of work! Now to figure out a realistic game plan to pass the exam and in what time frame. Don’t want to leave it too long, but only have Fridays and my own time to study.
