How can I keep things simple today?

Another good question. It sounds so simple, but the only thing that is really simple is making things complicated. Or messy. So how can I keep things simple? Well, that first requires knowing what I want to get done today:
– get at least 10 minutes of movement in
– book my DA-100 exam and start prepping
– vacuum clean the place
– laundry
The fastest way to get them done is to do one thing at a time and avoid distractions (well, except for the examp prep, I will need breaks then).

It sounds so simple, but focussing on something is really a big issue at the moment. I am guessing the key to keeping things simple in this case is to not try to do too many things and keep the things that I plan for the day small. I do not have to clean the entire bathroom in one go. I can break it down into smaller tasks that feel more easily achievable that day.

Same with the 1 minute journals. I tended to write long pieces and inevitably, I would burn out on journaling, because it would take so much time to write down all that happened that day as well as my thoughts and feelings. Which especially sucks to do on a bad day.
