I am trying to walk at least 5 minutes every day. On rainy days, that means walking back and forth through my flat to make the 5 minutes. Otherwise, I’ll easily make it to 50 minutes or so. Today, I intended to walk for just under an hour – the amount of time it takes me to walk around the town I live in. Except my feet took me on a different path and I ended up walking for 85 minutes or so. I don’t know exactly for how long I walked, because yours truly forgot to wear her tracker -.-
At first I figured I’d walk to the forest. But the path I took seemed endless, though nice with trees and shrubbery on both sides and a view of pastures on both sides as well. I’m guessing it was because it was rather muddy from all the rain we’ve had, that it felt endless. I ended up making a long circuit, taking a paved cycle path back, which was the exact same length, but more enjoyable due to the lack of mud. It was also more open as there weren’t that many trees.
So now I am actually really sore. My ankles are complaining and not feeling very steady. Hopefully a good night’s sleep will fix this so I can walk again tomorrow. Though defo not as far as I went today!
And in case you’re wondering: yes, I skipped today’s question of What can I do today to make tomorrow easier? I came up empty.
