I would love to visit the following countries/regiins. And yes, they are in order of priority.
- Australia
- Bhutan/India
- United States
- New Zealand
- Tropical rainforests in South America
- Savannah in Africa
I am mainly attracted to visit zoos or have a trip where I can see butterflies, parrots and other wildlife in their natural habitat. For the latter, it should be a no impact in nature kind of trip. I don’t want to disturb nature and I don’t want to go places where wildlife have been captured to draw tourists. Sounds a bit contradictory when I don’t mind visiting zoos, but the zoos that I want to visit do have conversation programs.
Then there is simply the beauty of nature, like the Himalayas. I have no desire to climb mount Everest or something, but I would like to see it and the Himalayas in general. I know there are some hiking trips to the lower base camps. A trip like that won’t be an option until I get very fit and hopefully rid if the sleep apnea. I would also need to get used to make do without my comforts. Like loo roll and showers and what not.
I would live to go to Africa to watch lovebirds in their natural habitat. They live in flocks, which is something I cannot give my two little darlings. But maybe I’ll get some ideas to improve their lives.
